True Love Takes Time

Anyone can say they would like to give anything for the person they love, they would cross the ocean, over the storm for person they love. Yes, that's what young people would absolutely said when they are madly in love.

Let's say there are a young couple who have a crush in each other (oh, that's what made them a couple -.-), they have a pure love, they are really care one and another and they have a sweet relationship without a flaw.

Out of the blue, there are an incident that make their lives fast forward to 40 years. They wake up and find they had changed, they grown so old. They are not the same again in a blink of  an eye. They look at each other, holding the wrinkled hands, look at their spouse with the missing teeth. And guess what they would do? Yes, they will walk away from each other and never come back.

Why does it happen to a passionately loving couple? Where was the pure love has gone?
Now i telling you, that might be a love too, what they experienced before. But that is not a mature love. A true love is a mature love which enable people to accept each other even in the worse situation, enable people to keep loving even in the condition they may not accept as much as they had given. And this true love takes time... This is something that people will learn through the good times and the bad times in the ups and downs of their relationship. Come what may in their journey, but as long as they hold each other, the bonding between them will just getting stronger and stronger.

I want us to be like that.. That's why we need to grow old together..


*This is what he said in the middle of our conversation when we back from taking his sister home. In a rainy night, two hours driving. He was remaining driving with only his right hand, whilst his left hand holding mine until we reached home :)
